Hello everyone! I am Carlos Giffoni, the writer of Two Suns, and I am so excited to be writing this note about my new Graphic Novel with one of my best friends and favorite artists breathing life into the visuals of this wild world.
The amazing Juan Doe is the artist on this book, and I am lucky to have the chance to be working on a book with him for the second time (our first book together was Strayed for Dark Horse, a Sci-Fi story about an astral traveling cat, released in 2019.) Juan went all-out designing the alien world of Two Suns and filling it with colorful, strange creatures and locations. We had many late-night long conversations about this project, so it is so so nice that it’s almost here in the best possible format we imagined for it: a high-quality full-color oversized hardcover.
So what is the book really about?
Two Suns is a Sci-Fi story about a person who wakes up on a strange island on an alien planet with no memories of how he got there or who they are, and they have only their trusty AI companion to help them figure it all out. The world of Two Suns is full of strange, beautiful locations and creatures that we had a lot of fun coming up with.
Two Suns is also a story about break-ups and failing when we least expect it. But, how there is always the possibility, however faint, to redeem ourselves from the mistakes we have made in the past, and become someone better. This is one where I 100% poured my heart into the script.
The book is fully drawn, and Juan is just putting some final touches on the art. We have brought in the amazing Ferran Delgado to work on the lettering. He killed it on a Harlequinn story he previously lettered with Juan, so he was our first choice for lettering this book.
To returning readers from our previous books, thank you for coming along on this new ride and giving us the time to get a new project ready for you. If you are new to what we do, I hope you get the same thrills and experience the same emotions we did while creating this book. Thank you all for your support.

I couldn't be more excited to be a part of this Kickstarter launch with my good friend Carlos Giffoni and the high-quality people behind Rocketship Entertainment. Ever since Carlos and I worked on Strayed, published by Darkhorse Comics, I knew I would continue to collaborate with Carlos and his wonderful stories on future projects—and here we are with the announcement of our new graphic novel, TWO-SUNS.
This book was an incredible experience, it came at a transformational point in my life. The story resonated with me deeply and being able to explore this universe and the TWO-SUNS environment was nothing short of transcendental and therapeutic. It was a project done for the love of the comic book craft, this wonderful union of words and images that creates a powerful conduit for telling stories.

Two Suns follows a scientist suffering from amnesia who wakes in a wild alien world and struggles to survive its perilous environment as returning memories reveal the wicked actions that led him there.
It’s a bit like if Castaway was an episode of Dark Mirror on an alien planet.
This is a sci-fi thriller that explores themes of isolation and redemption from writer/musician Carlos Giffoni (Strayed, Space Riders: Vortex of Darkness) and veteran artist Juan Doe (Strayed, Bad Reception, Dark Ark, The Fantastic Four in Puerto Rico.)
Join Giovanni on his adventures exploring an alien island full of mind-bending wildlife as he slowly recaptures vivid memories of his dying home planet, love, and heartbreak. Giovanni attempts to escape this colorful nightmare and erase the biggest mistake of his life after an unexpected twist of events shatters his perception of reality, revealing how he ended up trapped on this strange planet and everything he left behind.
The goal of the Kickstarter is to get the comic formatted for print and into your hands as quickly as possible! The more we raise the more stretch goals are unlocked and the more add-ons we can offer. The stretch goals and add-ons will be revealed as the campaign progresses and when they unlock we'll reveal the next ones. We think everyone will be pleasantly surprised by each!

With that said, we can provide some preliminary ESTIMATES. Issues with the USPS can impact issues with the Royal Mail, Canadian Mail, and so on, as can the constantly changing rules in the EU. Fluxes around holiday seasons can also change these estimates.
The softcover books generally are a little over 1lbs, and hardcover books with dust jackets are close to 1.5lbs. It is estimated that reward tiers will weigh in the "Up to 2lbs" to "Up to 3lbs" range featured in the shipping table below. This number could be higher depending on items added to an order.
